The young tree is leaning.

Things seemed just fine yesterday.

Now it's creaking under the pressure

as the wind shoves it back and forth

and the weight of all you've taken on yourself

drives you to the ground.

 

Do you remember how tall you used to stand?

Watching you fall down like this

is breaking my heart.

If you tell someone you spend a lot of money on clothes, they will probably think of you as a shallow person. If you say to that same person "I take pride in the way I dress," they will most likely respect you more.

People get attached to other people. Whether it's good for us or not, we hold on with everything in us. Why does it hurt so much to let go? We'll do anything to avoid the pain, even if it means holding on to the poisonous relationship that's killing us.

Why do so many conversations revolve around other people? People spend
so much time talking about others that they forget their life is
passing by. They make new friends but they forget to make new
memories.

I've been thinking about astronauts all day today. In fact, I've been
thinking about astronauts for the last three days.

It's funny what some people will do to impress a stranger,
and what they won't do for their closest friends.

There's a light that flickers outside my window.
Trying to shine; trying to burn steady.
The wind and the cold do their worst,
But the light still shines.

I burn for you.
Just because I flicker
doesn't mean I've given up.
Just because I fade
doesn't mean I've gone out.

It means that against all odds,
I'm still shining.

A boring life happens when you start to fear the pain more than you love the adventure.

If you think you're in control of your emotions, just wait til you fall in love.

Good friends mean a lot more when you also have bad friends. So to all of you that give me crap, thank you for being in my life.
